Starting out as Hamilton Aviation Services in 2004, and drawing heavily upon our founding CEO Murray Dreyer’s unparalleled knowledge of aviation supply chains, AvParts quickly became the go-to for reliable hardware and sheet metal supplies, as well as hard to source components – particularly for agricultural aviation operators. Quickly outgrowing the then current premises. In 2017 we secured the ex-Wishart Helicopters hangar at Hamilton Airport and were finally able to consolidate operations all in one place. In early 2024 we relocated our business to a new warehouse/showroom at Titanium Park, on the eastern side of Hamilton Airport. Between the Airport Terminal & NZ Aero (Pacific Aerospace)
Following Murray’s retirement in 2019, and with significant management changes taking place in 2022, John Hansen took on the role as Managing Director. In 2023, Lyndon Knowles was brought in as the Operations Manager, and Andrew Osborne joined the team to manage the inventory. The company saw a revitalised business approach and moves to a new direction to ensure AvParts does what it does best – providing top notch customer service, reliable backordering and genuinely caring about keeping you flying.
